Help me compare suitable courses. Show the relevant guide section and official source links for factual answers. Distinguish published facts from suggestions. If information is missing, outdated or conflicting, say so rather than guessing. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FIRST The following sections cover the merger, accommodation, careers/support and entry requirements. Course directory and full profiles follow. KING’S–CRANFIELD MERGER APPLICANT MESSAGE — SENT VERSION Cranfield's applicant and offer-holder messages were confirmed as sent by Arif on 7 November 2026. Use the relevant intake-specific version. For 2027/28 entrants: you begin registered as a King's student studying a course at Cranfield and benefit from the facilities Cranfield and King's offer their students. The message confirms existing offers remain valid and that the announcement does not change the chosen course or delivery location. Certificate conditions as written in the 2027/28 message: offers accepted before 31 July 2027 have a King's/Cranfield certificate choice; offers accepted after 1 August 2027 receive a King's certificate. Do not silently change these into inclusive dates. For acceptance on either boundary date, ask the student to contact Arif for clarification. The separate message to remaining 2026/27 applicants/offer holders also describes a certificate choice for its recipients. Source: Cranfield applicant and offer-holder messages, distribution confirmed by Arif, 7 November 2026. Ask Arif for the message applicable to the student's intake. What has been announced? King’s College London and Cranfield University have agreed to merge on 1 August 2027. The public FAQ describes further preparation, integration planning and required consents and approvals before completion. Where will I study? The FAQ says the Cranfield campus will remain open in its current location. For autumn 2027 entrants, applications and offers remain unaffected, including campus location and offer-letter admissions conditions. The merger does not by itself make a Cranfield course a London-taught programme. Will my course and fees change? The FAQ anticipates advertised 2027 courses running as planned, while retaining its usual exception if enrolment is insufficient. It states fees for autumn 2027 entrants remain as set out in offer letters for the 2027–28 academic year. Which certificate would I receive? The announcement distinguishes students present at merger and prospective students who accepted an offer before completion from offers accepted afterwards. The former group is described as having a certificate choice; the latter as receiving a King’s certificate. Read the full current guidance and confirm your own offer/award timing with the university; the FAQ frames some conditions differently. How do I apply? The public FAQ directs 2027/28 and 2028/29 applicants to Cranfield’s normal application route. Use the official links below for updates. Explore your accommodation options Cranfield’s official accommodation pages cover rooms and options for different household needs, including couples and families. Check the room type, location, facilities and contract terms that suit you. Check costs and availability Published single-student accommodation guidance is £620–£1,400 per month. This is an indicative living-cost range, not a quote for a particular room. Actual availability, charges and acceptance deadlines come from your accommodation offer. Before you commit An academic offer is not a room guarantee. Follow the current accommodation application guidance and confirm the dates and terms in writing. Campus life Use the official campus information to explore facilities, local travel and the surrounding area. Course campus information is shown on each profile; specialist sites and security conditions must be checked separately. Careers support Cranfield describes coaching, employability support and employer engagement. Academic background Required degree subjects and grades vary by course. Some courses consider professional qualifications or relevant work experience; meeting a minimum requirement does not guarantee admission. International qualifications Use Cranfield’s country-specific guidance to compare your qualification with the required UK degree level. For a four-year Thai bachelor’s degree, published comparisons include GPA 2.5 for a UK lower-second equivalent and GPA 3.0 for an upper-second equivalent. Other countries have their own criteria. English language The university’s common minimum is IELTS 6.5 overall with 5.5 in each component, but individual courses can require higher scores. Check accepted test types, score requirements, validity and any exemption conditions on the course page. Do not assume one English standard applies to every course. Experience and additional checks The Transformation MBA normally requires at least three years of post-qualification work experience and has its own assessment routes. Some engineering and other specialist courses require ATAS clearance for applicants of relevant nationalities. Check your course’s conditions, including interviews or security restrictions where applicable. Not sure whether you qualify? Contact Arif with your academic background, intended course and intake. Tuition is separate from living costs. Your offer sets the deposit and deadline; do not treat a general guide as an individual invoice. Living costs Published monthly single-student ranges: accommodation £620–£1,400; food £300–£400; travel £39–£85; general expenses £300–£400. Adding these figures gives £1,259–£2,285 per month or £15,108–£27,420 over 12 months. These totals are our arithmetic, not a university package price. They exclude tuition and additional arrival/immigration costs. Your spending may differ. Funding Check scholarships for your nationality, intended course and intake. Many collected funding pages refer to earlier rounds; this guide does not confirm those awards are currently open. Verify eligibility and deadlines directly before applying. Confirm the course and intake Read the exact course requirements, availability and current deadlines. Most collected course start fields still refer to 2026; use the university’s current application guidance for your intended intake. 2. Check your qualification and English Academic subject, grades, experience and English scores vary by course. For Thailand, official four-year bachelor’s comparisons include GPA 2.5 for a UK lower-second equivalent and 3.0 for an upper-second equivalent. These comparisons do not guarantee admission. Applicants from other countries must use their own country guidance. 3. Prepare documents Check the course’s document requirements. Academic certificates/transcripts, English evidence and translations may be needed. Interim evidence can be accepted where applicable; references are course-dependent. 4. Apply and meet your offer conditions Use the official online route. Read your offer carefully and satisfy its academic, English, deposit and other conditions. Some courses require ATAS clearance for applicants of relevant nationalities. Check current government visa and clearance guidance.
